Surrender and Let Go

​

Surrendering and letting go becomes a way of being when you are living an empowered life. You must have great faith to surrender and let go, however it becomes easy when you know what you are letting go of and surrendering to. We are letting go of all that is false and unaligned with our Truth and surrendering to the deepest Truth within us. We are letting go of a false identity and surrendering to what we Truly are as an infinite and eternal Soul power that is sustained by perfect love. We are letting go of all that is false and surrendering to the Truth.

Empowered people find their truth in each present moment, knowing it may change in the next moment. Unattached and free… they learn from the past, but don’t hold onto painful judgements of the past. Empowered people are present, open and teachable. They are always willing to evolve their thinking and let go of old models to be replaced by more evolved models when the time is right. They don’t cling to or become attached to that which no longer serves them. They can let everything that no longer serves them go, knowing something better will take its place.

Empowered people make letting go and surrendering an ongoing practice, therefore they travel light and are open to possibilities they cannot imagine, beyond the constraints of their minds. They live wide open, in the moment, spontaneous and free.

​

Letting go and surrendering is not about denial and avoiding what we need to heal within, nor do we avoid confronting buried pain. On the contrary, an empowered person will look at their pain and confusion, hurt and fear straight in the face… boldly and honestly.

​

They are happy to admit their confusion, without shame, without self-judgment… with only compassion, healing and willingness to let it go. To create the space for love to enter.

To let go of old ways of being that no longer serve, old relationships that no longer serve, old patterns and habits, thinking errors and pain cycles that are less than loving, peaceful and inspiring. And we can let people go and still keep a loving, yet maybe more distant physical connection to them. Let the pain from the relationship go, the stories go, the negativity go, the hurt go and be grateful for the lessons that soul brought to your life. How they have prepared you for something better. The love that was shared.

Only the limited identity or ego identity has trouble letting go of being right, letting go of its judgements. It holds grievances, becomes clingy and attached to what it believes brings it security. Only the limited identity can fear and feel threatened. All human beings deal with the temptation to believe they are a limited body and brain that can be threatened and die. Only a mind that believes it is separate and alone feels the need to look good and pretend to be what it is not in order to be accepted and secure in this world it perceives as threatening.

The most empowering thing to let go of is your limited identity and allow your True Identity to arise in its place. This is your true security and you will no longer look for security and love in all the wrong places. Once the True Identity and Infinite Soul Power takes over, you are home free… you are home within your Self… the Kingdom of Heaven within.
