Trusting Our Higher Self​

As we guide ourselves through this life, we have an inner GPS that signals us and guides us from our deepest heart, our highest Self. We of course need to be still and quiet to hear the whispering of the heart, and it is well worth the stillness.

No one can be inside us and know better for us than our own selves. Yes, in times of great emotion others can provide a grounded and clear view we may not be able to access. Sometimes others can see our blind spots… providing consulting to see things we cannot see in ourselves. However, always at the end of the day, no one can know our answers and hearts guidance but ourselves.

An empowered person doesn’t give their power away to others… they don’t allow others to control or manipulate them. Parents raising a child is a unique situation where parents may need to guide the child, however, empowered parents’ guide their children and teach them how to hear and trust their own answers.

We can trust our deepest Heart and the Hearts callings, promptings and guidance. Our sacred Heart knows better than anyone or anything outside us what our soul contracts, spiritual agreements, and divine purposes for this life are. Only our inner knowing can truly know the relationships we want to heal and deepen, the energy we want to bring into this lifetime and what we want to learn and how we want to grow in this life. We need to trust our deepest truth and heart that is within us to guide us as best as possible through this mystery we call physical life.

There is no one, no organization, no group, nothing you need from outside yourself to be connected to your Divine Source, the God of your understanding. Go to that place for your guidance and answers.

Nothing external is needed to complete you… you are naturally whole and wholly innocent as you were created and ongoingly sustained by your Creator. You are already a child of God; you have from within you a connection to God and all love and wisdom. That connection can never be lost or threatened; however, we can be distracted from it.

​

Sometimes it helps to talk to someone and sort out your thoughts, yet after all the sorting, you and only you, need to go within and make the decision for yourself. It is your life and no one, not even a priest, minister, guru, teacher, president or wise elder of your town can know better for you, than you… only you can access what is in your own sacred heart.

When we put our hearts first we live freely, trusting life, knowing what and when to speak and when to listen.
